Welcome to the all new Priddy Village Website.
It's being looked after by a growing number of people within the community; if you've spotted something we've missed or would like to be an author please get in touch!
IMPORTANT: The sheep fair website seems to be down.
THE SHEEP FAIR IS STILL TAKING PLACE
Wednesday 18th August 2010
All the usual attractions will be there including country skills, the sheep auction, horse trading, fun fair, food and cider. The auction starts at 11am. The green has a different layout giving more space for demonstrations.
The Eastwater car park and Horse Trading field are approached by heading into Priddy from the Hunters Lodge. Vehicle access to the village requires a permit including getting from Pelting Drove to Wells Road.
Everybody involved in the fair should already know what they are doing; farmers, trade stands, demonstrations, and so on. If you need to contact the organisers and don't already have their details please email the village website and I'll pass your request on. It's been wonderfully sunny and bone dry for ages; the gardens really need some rain - until John & Liz held their garden BBQ.
Didn't stop the party though.....

The Priddy Friendly Societies 6th annual Sheep Racing night was held on Saturday June 12th.
Good beer, good cider, good food, good company.
Classic entertainment provided by the Sheep Racing followed by England v USA in the World Cup.
All graced by a perfect summer evening.
Marvellous
Here's some piccies from Duncan - there are lots more over on the Sheep Racing Event Page.
